VT Practice Management Course

I know this exact feeling. When I got out of optometry school, I knew I wanted to start my own VT practice, but even though I had a degree in Business Management, I still had never seen a successful VT practice close enough to feel comfortable to hang a shingle and start seeing VT patients. Fortunately, I did find some help and after a wild ride of starting my own VT practice and growing it into 3 clinics seeing over 200 patients in weekly vision therapy, I learned some things along the way.
I then recruited a great team and together we've now done practice management consulting with clinics all over the US and Canada. These clinics range from new-start VT-only practices, to primary care practices wanting to add VT, to well-established VT practices who needed better systems in place. We've seen a lot of success with clinics who work with us on average seeing a 274% increase in profitability and 181% increase in patient volume.
The only problem here is that not everyone has the resources to bring in my team to do an onsite visit and 1 year of consulting. That is what has led to this course. You'll be getting all of the very best of what we've learned in my own clinic and with working with these clinics all over North America. Everything from how to market, to systems that successfully sign up patients into vision therapy, to how to train vision therapists, to insurance billing and vision therapy. Everything I wish I had when I started out.

Benjamin C. Winters, OD, FCOVD
Dr. Winters is board-certified in vision development and vision therapy. He started a vision therapy center in Yakima, Washington which grew to include 3 clinics, with 15 vision therapists, and over 200 patients in weekly vision therapy. He then started Emergent VT which specializes in next-level vision therapy take-home equipment, online self-paced vision therapy training for doctors and therapists, and world-class practice management consulting. His consulting team has provided consulting to clinics throughout the United States and Canada. His advocacy for children that struggle with life-altering developmental vision problems has included over 100 lectures in colleges, professional groups, parent groups, and schools. He is one of the founders of Building Vision, a non-profit that raises awareness and funds for individuals struggling with these vision problems and which has given free screenings to almost 1000 children in the Yakima area.
